Allied Industries
Allied Industries is The Resource Center’s employment and manufacturing division. Allied Industries provides employment and work training opportunities for individuals with disabling conditions, while also providing jobs for non-disabled people as well.
At Work Centers in Dunkirk and Jamestown, Allied Industries provides paid work experience in an industrial setting. Allied manufactures more than 100 products for the federal government and performs subcontracting work for area businesses. Work performed includes packaging, assembly, machine operation, sewing, and inspecting. Support services for workers include case management, training, supervision, and program planning and goal setting. Additional services available include pre-vocational skills training and a full range of clinical services such as speech, occupational therapy, physical therapy and counseling.
Allied’s Environmental Services division performs janitorial services at dozens of area businesses.
