Living Options
The Resource Center offers a variety of living options for individuals with developmental disabilities, ranging from round-the-clock care for those with specialized needs, to providing the supports needed by individuals to remain living on their own in the community.
TRC operates more than two dozen residences throughout Chautauqua County. The people who live there assist with all phases of home life – cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc. The agency also seeks out people willing to open their homes – and their hearts – to individuals with disabilities, thereby giving them a sense of family that some may never before have experienced. For adults and children who live with their families, TRC provides respite care that gives families a break from the responsibilities of caring for a disabled loved one, freeing families to be able to go out for an evening or away on a vacation, secure in the knowledge that their loved one is in capable, caring hands.
